Chili Dog Casserole

When I found this recipe for Chili Dog Casserole over at Cully's Kitchen I knew we had to give it a try.  Hot dogs are my youngest and pickiest eaters  favorite food.  We all like chili dogs, but I don't think anyone likes them nearly as much as he does.

The fact that there aren't any arguments at dinner is amazing, but considering this recipe only requires 4 ingredients makes it even better.  It's incredibly simple and affordable.  If you have a family who loves chili dogs I suggest making this one.  It is a definite keeper!

Look at all that yummy, melty, cheesy goodness!
A look in the middle...seriously yummy and easy!

Chili Dog Casserole source Cully's Kitchen
2 - 15 oz cans of chili with beans
1 package of hot dogs
10 flour tortillas
1 package of shredded cheese

  • Spread 1 can of chili in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish
  • Roll hot dogs inside tortillas and place in the baking dish seam side down
  • Top with remaining can of chili and sprinkle with shredded cheese
  • Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 30 minutes
Serve with some chopped onion, jalapenos, and mustard or whatever your favorite chili dog toppings are.  Or just eat as is.  Either way I am sure you will enjoy this one!  And the best part is this only cost $6 to make.  Not bad at all.

Below is the nutritional value per serving.  This recipe yields approximately 10 servings.  Definitely not a healthy recipe...maybe serve it with some steamed broccoli on the side ;)
