Bacon and Pea Pasta

Hmmm...maybe I am still on vacation mode.  I was not to thrilled to cook dinner and you guys know I love to cook.  So I decided this Bacon and Pea Pasta would be perfect for tonight.  It's super easy, delicious, and takes less than 30 minutes to make.

Everyone seemed to enjoy it.  But how could you not enjoy pasta with bacon?  Yum!

Bacon and Pea Pasta
1 lb small pasta
1 package bacon, sliced into bite size pieces
2 TBS Butter
2 TBS Olive Oil
2 cups peas
2 heaping TBS greek yogurt
2 TBS lemon juice
1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Prepare noodles as directed on package
  • While noodles are cooking heat olive oil and butter over medium high heat
  • Add bacon and cook until crispy
  • Add peas and cook about 3 minutes or until fully defrosted
  • Remove from heat and add greek yogurt, mix well to combine
  • Add pasta and lemon juice, mix well
  • Combine cheese into pasta until fully melted and incorporated
See that was pretty easy and good :)  Can't beat that combination!

  1. Love this recipe. And with the Greek yogurt it's more lean than another cream sauce and good for lactose intolerance. I'm pinning this one too.

    1. We are loving Greek Yogurt. It is so versatile and packs such a protein punch. I try to use it whenever possible and no one even notices :)
