Weekly Meal Plan

Wow!  This week flew on by!  And now the weekend is almost over already.  I am a little slow with getting my meal plan, but we've been super busy and the weather has been gorgeous!  I know excuses, excuses ;)  I already did all my shopping for next week and can't wait to bring some comfort food back into the routine.  I love chilly nights with good heart warming meals.

Here is the meal plan I have for next week.  You will see we are having a picnic lunch on Saturday.  My hubby's work schedule is changing and this will be his last weekend off until we don't know when.  At least April I think.  I am not sure what exactly we will do that day...I think I will leave it up to him :)

Ranch pork chops are just an easy dish to prepare any day of the week.  Here is the recipe if you are using your own ranch mix then use 2 TBS.

I will post my recipe for chili as soon as I make it!  Yum!  I love chili!

This is something my grandma used to make all the time when I was growing up.  I can't wait to share this recipe.  This recipe takes me back and is so comforting to me.

This Scalloped Potatoes recipe from Skinny Taste looks fantastic.  I am going to add some ham to make it more of a meal.

Another meal I have sitting in my freezer is the recipe for Lemon Marinated Chicken from When the Dinner Bell Rings.  I know it will be incredible!

Now that I know what we're eating I have to make the list.  There are lots of things I have left from last week so I don't need to repurchase them.  I have pizza sauce, frozen fruit and berries, waffles, cereal, and applesauce.  So I am good to go there, but if you are following my plan you may want to add those items to your list.  By the way I have now lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks!  Woo Hoo!  The best part is I am still eating (as you can see).  Who knew just by measuring out my portions what a huge difference that would make.
